Since this is my personal
site, I get to tell you about anything I damn well please!!
This is simply a little piece of my life. I was born a poor
black child. Hmmm... Maybe not. I was born
in Islip, NY on August 5, 1970. Yes, that makes me close
enough to thirty to realize I'm not a kid anymore. Still,
ignoring the aforementioned statement keeps me happy and I feel
that you are only as old as you let yourself be. Besides, 31
is not really old at all. Even in this business. I
moved around the country often when I was younger. I have
lived on Long Island NY, Baltimore and Silver Springs MD, Waukesha
Wisconsin, Syracuse NY, and various placed in New Jersey.
I'm still stuck in New Jersey. It just won't let go.
I graduated from William
Paterson University in 1993 with a degree in music, which is
rather shameful since I played in what would be considered a
top 40 cover band for over 6 years. Ahhh, I once had all
these lofty ideals and goals. What happened to them?
I'm posting a $10,000 reward to anyone who can find them. Of
course, playing in Erotomania now (a Dream Theater tribute, see music
for more) has helped greatly in that department.
Besides the various
descriptive sections of this site, there are a few quick things I
would like to mention here. I am a hopeless Green Bay
Packers fan. I picked that up when I lived in Wisconsin.
They where soooooo bad and I used to feel sorry for them.
They seem to have improved a bit, wouldn't you say? I also
am quite the gamer. I used to enjoy Dungeons and Dragons (when I get
the time, which is next to never nowadays!) and Magic the Gathering,
but really only play Star Fleet
Battles due to time constraints. Check the Links for more info on
this stuff.
No biography would be complete
without a quick tip of the hat to my family and a few of my
closest friends. Besides, It's MY SITE, remember? My
Mother, Jacqueline Woolacott, is a social worker in Warwick, Rhode
Island. She just got re-married this fall to wonderful
guy named Rick and she deserves it!! A most remarkable
person, she got her Master's degree in Sociology in just 5 years!!
Robert Giegerich, my father, works for LCI lasers and resides in
Southern California. My sister, Caroline, is a graduate of Brown
University and has recently moved down my way to lovely New York
City.
I have other family out in Long Island, and my Mother's entire
side of the family is from Kentucky. As you can guess,
visiting them for the holidays can be quite taxing. It's
worth it, though.
My A#1 supporter in my life is
my fiancé, Laurel. We've been together for quite a few
years now. She's quite the charmer, and a whole lot more.
She's my Flipper. It's an inside thing. I would also
like to mention my best friend Brook. He's married now and
has a house, but we can still get together and act like
idiots. That's why he's my friend. Finally, I would
like to mention all the guys in the Celerity staff, especially
Phil. He's the one that gave me the job and puts up with
more of my B.S. than any mortal creature should. Of course,
Phil is not originally from this world....
